INSPECTIONS FOR KEEPERS –

You do not have to be buying or selling a home to have a need for a home inspection. Our home inspections for those keeping and maintaining their homes cover the same items and include the same comprehensive report that we do for home buyers and sellers. This can form an important part of your Home Check-up Plan or Home Preservation Plan.

Seniors:

Many seniors would like to stay in their homes as long as possible. A home inspection will help provide the information you need to make that decision and to help identify problems and inspect places in the home that may be difficult for you to see. We can even help put together a plan to take care of your home – a preventative maintenance program that you or someone else can follow.

Disabled people:

Lack of physical abilities to care for your home and/or get to important areas which need to be looked at periodically should not keep you from being able to have an appropriately maintained home. We can work closely with you and your caregiver to have a thorough Home Inspection and, if needed, an ongoing program to identify and take care of problems. Our Home Preservation Plan or Home Check-up Plan can help give you confidence that your home will be in good shape.

Busy people:

The work demands of today can often distract home owners from important aspects of home maintenance or use up home maintenance time. Things can deteriorate and become more serious. If your to-do list does not have some items about taking care of your home, a Home Inspection can help identify issues that need attention and alert you the need for action. We can also help with a prioritized preventative maintenance plan that spells out what and when things need to be done.

New home owners who did not have a Home Inspection:

Whether you bought an existing home or a new one, homes and home systems deteriorate. Even a new home is no assurance of it being problem-free. Building materials are not the same as they used to be and home systems are more complicated making them more vulnerable to lack of attention. A Home Inspection can establish a good base from which to understand what may need to be done.

Absentee Owners and Landlords:

Have an independent, objective inspection of your property. Whether your property is rented or unoccupied, we can give you the assurance that your property is taken care of according to your standards. Protect your investment.

Other Home Owners:

If you have lived in your home for a period of time, 3 to 5 years or more, it is probably time for a Home Inspection, even if you had one when the home was purchased. Homes and home systems do not last forever. Your home inspection was only a “snapshot of the home’s condition. Previously unseen problems can become visible.
